New Construction of Ater realignment & Bhind bypass
about project
The Ater Realignment and Bhind Bypass Project is a key infrastructure initiative undertaken on National Highway 552 Extension (NH-552 Ext.) in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The project aims to enhance regional connectivity, improve road safety, and reduce congestion through the construction of a 21.50 km section of highway built to two-lane with paved shoulder standards.
Client’s Challenge
The existing road alignment through Bhind town caused severe traffic congestion, delays, and safety risks. Sharp curves and poor geometry in the Ater section further reduced driving safety and efficiency. The client needed a reliable, fast-track solution under EPC mode to upgrade road conditions while minimizing disruption to existing traffic.
Our approach and solution
We implemented a strategic realignment at Ater and constructed a new bypass near Bhind, ensuring safer travel and reduced congestion. Executed under EPC mode, the project emphasized timely delivery, quality control, and improved regional connectivity through efficient planning.
result
The project successfully reduced traffic congestion in Bhind by diverting highway traffic through the new bypass. Improved road alignment enhanced safety and travel speed on the Ater section. Delivered on time under the EPC model, the highway upgrade strengthened regional connectivity, boosted local economy, and supported national infrastructure goals with durable, high-quality road infrastructure.
